Charging port problem with my Galaxy Note 10.1 2014

Hi there,

I have discovered that charging my Samsung Galaxy note 10.1 2014 was getting slow, then it won't charge until I press the charge in harder before the Note starts charging,  what could be the problem ? How do I solve this one?

Hi Gabriel

Slow charging of Smart Phones happen if the charger cannot deliver enough current to the big batteries of the big phones. Generally the one that comes with the box or is recommended in the manual should be fine. In case you are facing problems with the recommended charger, kindly go to the nearest Samsung Customer Service and ask them for a replacement.

You have also said that pressing in harder makes the charger work. Well in that case it might be a problem of a damaged charger or a damaged charging port on your phone. If the problem was there from the beginning, it might be a manufacturing default and if warranty covers, you will get a replacement.

In either of the above two scenarios, you need to visit your nearest Samsung Customer Service.
