I am trying to transfer photos from my Motorola V360 to a computer; my problem is, I have the cable to connect my Motorola V360 to the computer but I don’t have software. Is it possible to use a card reader instead?

Which software don't you have? Once you have the cable to connect the mobile phone to your computer, you should be able to transfer your photos successfully to the computer. When you connect the phone to the computer using the cable, it will be detected as a USB device, and therefore all you will need to do is browse the contents of the phone and copy the photos and paste them to a folder on your computer.

You can also use Bluetooth transfer instead of using the cable to move the photos to your computer. But for that you will need to make sure that both your phone and the computer are Bluetooth enabled. In case you have a card reader and your computer has a slot for the card reader then you can use that as transfer method too.
