Cannot register activation code as a new code

I find something odd in the error message. It says that you cannot register the antivirus with your license code or activation code as a new code. It sounds like you already activated the product before. If you forgot or you haven’t checked if your antivirus has already been activated, check it again. Maybe you are activating the program for the second time using the same code.

If Kaspersky Internet Security is not activated, you should see a similar window as the one shown below. This is displayed in the main application window. It indicates that the License is missing and the system protection indicator which is normally green is in red. See image.

If this is the case, activate Kaspersky Internet Security again. Using your activation code, enter the 20-digit activation code exactly as it appears. Your computer needs to be online because the activation process requires an internet connection. In case Kaspersky Internet Security is activated, you should see a similar window like in the image below. See image.

The main window of the application will show you your remaining subscription days until your license expires. If you see this screen, you no longer need to activate your copy.
