Cannot read emails in PC but can be read by iPhone

I would like to see the emails in Outlook 2003 Exchange Inbox even though it has been read on iPhone 4. Are there any settings to be done in the mail setup for this? When I am checking the email from PC it is not showing any emails which have been read from iPhone. Please provide me some inputs.

Hi Ronald,

This is a familiar problem with using multiple clients for accessing e-mail server. Even so there are two sides of settings that need to be met in order to work this for you.

One is on the server side and we will assume that server is not the one deleting the messages after opening them because you didn’t say that you have that problem when use Outlook first.

On your iPhone you have to check the option to leave messages on the server even you accessed them via phone.

Tap the Setting – Mail – Accounts – under incoming settings tap “Delete from server” and choose “never”:
