Cannot connect USB device – error message with recognition

Hello,

I cannot connect my usb mouse with my pc. I try to connect it and each time it show an error message which says usb device not recognized and sometimes later I find it working perfectly. I do not understand what is happening. Kindly someone inform me if it is a software or hardware error and the possible solutions.

Cannot connect USB device – error message with recognition

The basic solution for this error is to update your USB drivers to the latest version.
 
This will fix most user’s problem. The common patterns to solve the error  with a USB device not being r distinguished  includes: setting off recognition of the USB device through the Windows Device Manager, inspection for loose connections, rendering inoperative power management of the USB hub, perform a system file check, rebooting the computer, and running the Windows System Restore utility.
 
All of the methods can be tried by end-users who have administrator rights on their computer without having to compensate a computer professional to troubleshoot the error.
