Cannot access my games folder?

Hi,

I want to open my games folder but suddenly this pop-up message appeared,

Local Disk (C:)

C:games is not accessible.

Access is denied.

OK

This is the main folder where my file game was stored so suppose to be it should be accessible; I Also, I noticed that there are some unfamiliar files (outside folders) which do not appear before. What are those files? Please help. Thank you!

Cannot access my games folder?

My dear friend this problem is because of virus and may be that virus came from some of the game so the solution for you is that you can open that file from the run command present in the start menu and then if you found that folder then open that folder if it works then its ok otherwise you can again go to that software and then do right click and don’t press open but to explore then you can easily open that file.

If the above both suggestions will not work then there is a problem in the files and it will be solved when you can change of install a new copy of windows.

It seems that you are experiencing virus problem and you need to remove this virus by installing an anti virus software and then scan your whole system and see if the anti virus software can still remove the viruses inside your computer. If the virus is too strong and you can't do anything about it then I suggest that you do a fresh install of your computer but make sure that you make a backup of all of your important files. Try using safe mode to back up your files or use other computer and attach your hard disk there to back up your file.
