Can we chat with cell phone from computer without any cost?

Hello all experts,

A question came into my mind when talking to my colleague about chatting software.

The question is that can we chat with cell phone from computer without any cost?

I mean if we connect through WiFi and chat with computer? Is that possible?

I think there is a software for Bluetooth chatting but i am not sure about WiFi.

Hi there

Chatting software’s has become one of the main threat for SMS. As your guess there are Bluetooth chatting software but you no need to connect to WIFI but the problem is you should be have a minimum distance of 15 – 20 meters. (This is only an average distance which all normal mobiles support.

There are many apps available online which support cross platform mobile messaging.

If you are looking for a software that will enable to send messages to another phone without paying for sms, try “Whatsapp”. This software can be downloaded from  http://ww1.whatsap.com.  It is one of the coolest software used by millions of users to communicate from phone without paying for sms. You need to have an active gprs connection or wifi connection.

If you are looking for communicating from phone to computer you can use your Gmail or FaceBook apps.
