Can’t update my Android software with Kies software.

Hello all.

I’m trying to update my Android software, but I’m unable to link with the Kies software. I always find an error message which states as given below. My OS is Win 7 34bit Ultimate.

What do you think is causing this error?

Can you give me some opinion and possible solution for this.

Help needed. Thanks in advance.

Error:

Cannot start service on the device.Please disconnect then reconnect the device.

Hello,

You may have to update your software on your phone

  1. Go to Home page on your phone

  2. Locate about phone tab

  3. Click on System updates

  4. Select Update profile

  5. It will take 2 mins. for your network to prepare the data services

  6. Once the completion is finish click ok

  7. Select Home

You may also need to uninstall the app.

  1. Click on setting from the home page

  2. Select applications

  3. Scroll to Manage applications

  4. From either download tab or running tab locate the app you downloaded for media player

  5. Select uninstall

Once you uninstall you will want to reinstall.

These steps should help you out.

  1. Make sure the device is not connected

  2. Kies needs to be open

  3. Select tools

  4. Click on Install Device

  5. After installing the computer needs to be rebooted

  6. Once the computer is up and running you need to attach your device again

  7. After windows acknowledge your device it will ask if you would like to reboot?

  8. Reboot now( at this point you can reboot your phone as well its up to you)

  9. Kies needs to be open

  10. Select connect your device

  11. Remember to first end connection to Kies first before the USB!!
