Can’t register Developer License on Visual Studio 11 Beta for Windows 8

I am unable to register the Developer License of Visual Studio 11 Beta for Windows 8.

Following is the error dialog box pasted. 

Developer License

We couldn’t get your developer license for Windows 8 Consumer Preview

Please check your network connection and try again.

It results the time when I try to edit Account settings. How to get sort it out?

Need your kind help in this regards.

Can’t register Developer License on Visual Studio 11 Beta for Windows 8

HI,

The above problem is actually under investigation by windows. You can read it here to follow up on future fixes.

Other solutions not suggested on windows has been to provide proper authentication for your proxy connection if your using windows internet explorer. So set up a proper connection and it should work.

1. If you want to solve your problem then you need a developer license.

2. This is not available now so you cannot solve your problem.

3. If you want to get developer license. You can find many information’s about your problem.

Joyce Meghan, the link you have provided is very helpful, because through it I found a solution to my problem, and am no longer getting. In future if I get similar issues, I will be sure to use the same solution. Thank you techyv.com for sharing this important information
