Huawei IDEOS S7 Slim was unveiled in February 2011 and released 2 months after. This tablet from Huawei is like a Smartphone because it is capable of receiving voice calls via GSM and receives text and multimedia messages. It supports 2G and 3G networks and fits in a mini-SIM. It measures 200 x 109.5 x 12.5 millimeters and weighs 440 grams.

It has a TFT capacitive touchscreen display with 256K colors at 480 x 800 pixels screen resolution. It has microSD expandable up to 32 GB, 3.5-millimeter jack, 8 GB internal storage running on 512 MB RAM with 512 MB ROM including support for multitouch capable up to 4 fingers. It has microUSB 2.0, Bluetooth 2.1 with support for A2DP and EDR, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with Wi-Fi hotspot.

The primary camera supports 3.15 megapixels at 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution features geo-tagging and can record video in WVGA. The secondary camera supports VGA. It runs on Android 2.2 Froyo powered by Qualcomm QSD8X50 Snapdragon chipset and 1 GHz Scorpion processor. The built-in sensors include compass and accelerometer.
