Can’t install Expression Web 4 ultimate with windows 8 RC

Hello,

I faced a problem while I try to install Microsoft Expression Web 4 on windows 8 64 bit RC. I got an error message. The error message says,

” An error occurred while attempting to create the directory:ProgramDataMicrosoftExpression”. Please help to resolve this problem.

Can’t install Expression Web 4 ultimate with windows 8 RC

Generally this error occurs when you do not have proper permissions or some security restrictions apply on the target location.

If you are not running the installer as administrator then please try to install the application using the admin authorization. If the installation is run using System {before logon), then please make sure, that System has the required permission to create the folder in this subfolder.

Manually you can also change the permission of the parent folder to apply it to all its Childs/subfolders.

Note: One can easily overcome this situation by creating the required folder beforehand and assign the required permissions.

Permission changes can also take effect using Group Policies or by Scripts.
