Can’t change output format to MP4 in Express Studio

Hi There,

Does anyone already had seen the following error: “This functionality is only available in the fully-featured Expression Encoder Pro” when running the Express Studio Ultimate licensed version? I read that the majority of of consumers who are utilizing the MSDN membership edition of Expression Studio are getting this issue. While you modify the Output Format “Windows Media” to MP4, you can receive this particular error.

Can’t change output format to MP4 in Express Studio

Hello There,

I hope you can fix your problem by the answer that i am going to share with you, first of all there are several features that will cause this message to be displayed. One is running a screen capture for longer than 10 minutes. Secondly use of an MPEG 2 input.

Use of AVCHD for input. Use of Dolby Digital audio input. Attempt to output in H.264 format. Attempt to output in AAC-LC format. And use of IIS Live Smooth Streaming. The only resolution is to upgrade to a full-featured version of Microsoft Expression Encoder 4 Pro from the Microsoft Store.
