Can someone help me with Mac GSM?

Hello there.  I have a 21.5" iMac that has the 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5 processor, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD, Nvidia GeForce GT 640M Graphics processor and OSx Mountain Lion.  Is there a way for my iPhone to access and control my iMac?  My iPhone 3GS GSM 850 is on iOS 6.1.3.  I need help in Mac GSM.

Hi,

 

It's possible to access and control your iMac from your iPhone.There are various apps which can help you achieve this. Some of the apps are free while others are paid apps. They perform different functions but at least all allow you to control your iMac from your iPhone. I would suggest the following apps:

 

1. Splashtop 2

 

The app is 31.0 MB in size and it's really easy to set up and connect. It is valued at approximately $4.99

 

2. TeamViewer

 

It is a free app which is 13.2 MB and it lags and delays a little.

Apple produces tremendous gadgets and Yes it is possible for you to control your iMac using your iPhone. There are different Apps from the Apple AppStore you can purchase to remotely control your iMac and here are some: 

 

1) Snatch – make use of your iPhone as your handy trackpad while at the same time mouse and keyboard too. 

 

2) Jaadu VNC – allows you to fully control your computer because it will show you the actual view of your desktop. That's why you can actually change, add, edit, drag and delete, even you're outside your home. 

 

3) Remote Pro – same as Snatch but it has added features such multi-touch gestures and you can now also quit some of the running applications in your iMac Computer.

You sure can access and control your Mac PC with your iPhone. There plenty apps out there which will help you but here are a couple I find really interesting as they are very affordable and easy to use.

LogMeIn 3.2.1193: It is the latest version of this app. They say it is the most popular and it gives you a unique remote access experience. Its basic form is free but you need to pay for a pro version update using in-app purchase which can cost you $39.99 for a year. This enables HD video and audio streaming and the ability to save files locally. It occupies 11.7MB on your HDD and can be found in several languages. Jump desktop (Remote Desktop) RDP/VNC 5.0.2: If LogMeIn is the most popular, jump desktop is the best app for remote desktop control. This is the latest version and it comes with a whole lot of features like Auto correction and dictation fixes and non connection to load balanced servers. It cost $14.99 on the iTunes app store with an optimized compatibility with iPhone and takes up about 10 MB of memory space.
