Can someone help me with all port numbers PDF document?

Hi there!

I have been studying the different ports in the PC world but it is quite cumbersome navigating web pages to check on them one by one. Does anyone have all port numbers pdf document with information on what they are used for? Or better still, if one can get the most important ones that are frequently used.

Hello Fred,

There are a wide range of port numbers use in different network protocols to communicate with others and to provide different services in the network. Here I attached commonly using port numbers of different network protocols and their uses in PDF format. Hope it will help you a little bit.

Hi Fred,

In PC world, a port is an application specific or process specific software. The purpose of ports is to uniquely identify different applications or processes running on a single computer and thereby enable to share a single computer and thereby enable them to share a single physical connection to a packet switched internet network like the internet. Attached is the list of common TCP/IP port numbers used around the world.
