Can I work with CANON MP280 in my Windows XP OS?

Exactly what additional things I need to install on my PC to use the CANON MP280. I am using Windows XP Operating System. Is this ok to use CANON MP280 with this?

Hi,

First of all you need to install Safari 4, internet explorer 7 or higher versions of the browser in your operating system, Windows XP. After that you have to install software properly in the conventional method. Then please configure your printer where you want to use it. Best of luck.

Hello

Go to this link : https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/printers/support-inkjet-printer/mp-series/pixma-mp280

Find “Drivers&Software” in this page, click on it, a small window will open

It contains a list options with “Select Operating System”, click on it and select “Windows” then select “Windows XP”.

Click on “Drivers” then all you need is to click the name of the driver and accept the disclaimer to start downloading.

Hello,

Yes your Windows XP operating system will work well with the CANON MP280 printer. The manufacturers of the printer did not limit the printer to any operating system above Windows XP. When you look at your printer specifications in the manual, you will find that it will be supported by XP. I therefore believe there are no additional things to install.

Yes, you can use CANON MP280 for Windows XP Operating System.

Before you can use you need to install its drivers, software, utilities, and firmware that come with it when you buy.

Please read manuals properly to guide yourself or get assistance of an expert.

Can I work with CANON MP280 in my Windows XP OS?

As long as you have the correct drivers loaded on your PC, there should be nothing else needed.

The manufacturer, Canon, does not limit which operating system it can be used to, although if the printer is older, it may not work so well with the newer operating systems.

It is best to check with the manufacturer’s website for the latest updates to the driver.

In the USA, the website is: Canon Pixma US and in Europe: Canon Pixma EU

Can I work with CANON MP280 in my Windows XP OS?

Hello there!..

For you to be able to use your canon printer, you will need first to install its driver found in the package of the printer. If you lost it, you may also download the driver here → http://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/5/0100002905/04/mp68-win-mp280-1_03-ejs.exe. For the installation, just click the driver file and click agrees if prompt and just follow the next steps until the installation is finished.
