I know I can ask my IT department, but I have a Blackberry through work and I do not want to go out and get a second personal phone. Can I download and use apps on my Blackberry that are personal knowing that if/when I need to turn in the device all of that information will go with it? Thank you.
You can use the personal apps on your phone without any worry since you know they are not going to take it back immediately.
Whenever they want to take it back they will give you a few hours or days till you can give them back. In the given time you can backup your data into a computer and remove the personal apps from your phone when needed.
The apps data can't be copied only the images, photos, videos, etc came through personal apps might be copied.
So well when you get a new phone from company or you buy it yourself you have to install those personal apps again.
As For Blackberry messenger you just need to remember your blackberry id and password to use your blackberry messenger in your new phone.
