Can I run RTSP over WAP?

Hi Experts,

I want to run real time streaming protocol over Wireless application protocol. Is it possible to rtsp over wap on symbian mobile phone?  I want to play RSTP on real player. Is there any tool or software available to run RTSP over WAP?

Can I run RTSP over WAP?

Hello Bryan,

I think that there is  a solution for your question. It is possible to run RTSP over WAP. You should configure your streaming settings. Go on Settings > Configuration > Personal Configuration. Then press Option and select Add New and select Streaming. At the end go to Media > Media Player and activate the streaming setting. I think this will help you to solve your problem.

Hi Bryan,

I think that it is possible.

1. Try to configure Steaming settings on Settings > Configuration > Personal config.

2. Then press Options and select Add New.

3. Then select Streaming.

4. Now Go to Media > Media Player and activate the streaming settings.

5. Then select go to address and input the streaming site.
