Can I have multiple accounts in adsense?
Just wondering if I can apply for multiple accounts in adsense. I have my own account but wanted to get more to make it as a back up once my first account got banned or something. Is this allowed?
Google AdSense only allowed one account per one payee, and with that account you had, you can add it to multiple websites which complies with AdSense program policy. With only one account you can get all your websites reports from your AdSense.
Once you get banned, you will never get another chance to make new account anymore, even with others name. That's why it won't allow to make many accounts in AdSense.

No. Publishers are not permitted to maintain multiple AdSense accounts under the same payee name. You can have multiple account with different payee name, but when you get caught you will get banned
