Brother all in one printer updating error

Dear all,

On my Mac Book in my home network I got Brother All in one printer.

This is the first time that I am having this printer and this problem.

When I wanted to update firmware I got error message.

Can someone please help me with this problem?

Brother all in one printer updating error

Hi Charless!

Generally, this particular error dialog box usually appears when your printer is not connected to the right port (unless you have wireless printer), if the hardware (printer) is not your latest printer driver, or if the icon hasn't been selected on the control panel.

First of all, make sure all wires are connected to its right port if nothing's wrong, you can follow these certain procedures:

STEP 1.  Click on START | Control Panel | Hardware and Sound | Printers

STEP 2. Make sure that the model of the printer that you are using is on the list; Otherwise, you can go to this link and download it

STEP 3. If you're finished, go back to STEP 1 and click the icon compatible for your printer

STEP 4. Lastly, try to redo the firmware again.
