Boot Camp partition error on Vista Home Premium

Hi,

I get the following error message having Boot Camp Partition with Vista Home Premium and whenever I try to load it in VM ware. The error message shows “Could not create the virtual disk for your Boot Camp virtual machine”. Can anyone provide a solution to fix this error? Any help would be appreciated.

Boot Camp partition error on Vista Home Premium

Hi Donald,
The error is because the virtual disk cannot be created for the boot camp virtual machine.
The solution to it is as follows:
1) Shut down the Virtual Machine
2) Quit the VMware fusion
3) Browse the Macintosh HD/Users/username/Library/Application Support/VMware Fusion/Virtual Machines
4) Click the icon 'Finder'
5) Click 'Go' menu, this opens the library folder
6) Delete Boot Camp folder
7) Start VMware fusion. It rebuilds the Boot Camp virtual machine
8) Restart the system
