Blue Screen of Death while using KMP player

Hi everyone,

My screen suddenly becomes blue all over with some errors on it and then restarted afterwards. This happened while I was plying video using KMP player and pressed the right arrow to forward the video. I was also viewing YouTube on Firefox browser.

I figured maybe it has something to do with clicking the right arrow in my KMP player but I'm not so sure. I want to hear your thoughts bout this issue. Why am I getting this error? What should I do to fix this? Thank you.

• Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit.
• Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 2.93 GHz.
• 2 GB RAM.
• ATI Radeon HD 4300/4500 Series.

Blue Screen of Death while using KMP player

Hi Charley,

There are many reasons why it happens. It affects both on the hardware and the software. Here are the things I can mention:

1. New hardware – If you just updated new drivers, be sure to have the latest update. And you have checked the manufacturer's support site for specific information.

2. A new software – Maybe there is a new software that you installed recently, but don't uninstalled it yet, just update windows for the meantime. 

3. Malware/spyware and viruses – They are written for damaged computers. Just be sure to have an anti-virus that is up to date. Restart and scan your computer and do it often.

4. Old or broken computer – Maybe you used your computer so much that it overheats and damaged the fan. Or sometimes the motherboard is affected. You can do diagnostic work.
