Blue Screen ASIO4ALL Sound Driver problem

Hi,

I have a problem with the ASIO4ALL driver I use for Ableton Live. When I open Ableton it immediately shows blue screen. Then after reboot, the program can open but the audio driver is turned off. When I click to select the ASIO driver in the menu, it goes to blue screen again. Never had that problem before.

I think it maybe the Zoom Player I installed recently. It had an option to install missing drivers, which I did, so I guess it messed with the audio driver :/ i don't know what to do to change to previous driver settings. Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Toshiba Satellite c660D x-64-based.

Hi,

This blue screen can occur because of problem cause windows 7 to shut down. These kinds of errors can be caused by software problems & hardware problems.

Please try the following methods to resolve your problem:

  • Check your PC for hard disk errors.

Hi there,

Blue screen of death (BSOD) usually occurs because of two reasons. One is to make changes in drivers or some basic software. Another is the virus. Before going to take any steps please scan your computer with a good anti-virus. Now restart and do the same thing for which the blue screen usually appears. If that is still showing the same thing then I suggest you uninstall the drivers and install again. I hope this will help you a lot.

Also you can try using an image of the previous window state too. You can do it from control panel. Please click on the start bar, go to accessories, click on system tools, click on system restore. From the lists please any previous state of the window state. I hope this will also help you.

Best regards,

Riley Weaver.
