Blackberry desktop software synchronization error

Hello all

I have recently installed the blackberry desktop software on my PC but when I tried to sync it with my blackberry device, I got an error on my screens, and my device could not sync.

The screenshot of the error is attached below:

The message states:

BlackBerry Desktop Software

Synchronization Error

CRTranRec:: GetFieldTemplate : Database is corrupt

I also reinstalled it but still I got the same error. Any idea why is this happening?

Dear Gregory

I have read your question and I understand that you are facing issues synchronizing your blackberry to your desktop software.

This error could be caused by a specific record on the blackberry that would not sync.

You mentioned that you have downloaded the blackberry desktop software, what is the software version that you are having because you need to upgrade to blackberry desktop software 4.2 service pack 1 or later, later software is better because it will skip the affected records that is causing Blackberry not to synchronize.

After you update, restart your computer and try again. If you are still facing problems try to synchronize your Blackberry using another PC, if that is possible.

Blackberry desktop software synchronization error

Hello!

This error is due to the fact that you are not registered somewhere in their database. You should call your carrier and tell them about your problem. They will create a case # for you, which will solve the issue. Some Desktop Software logs will be necessary, they will probably ask you for those.

Blackberry desktop software synchronization error

This problem appears to be related to the installation files. It is also possible that you installed the incorrect version for your device or the application is not compatible with your operating system. Whichever is the reason, just make sure to install the correct version for your device. The BlackBerry software is in two versions: the BlackBerry Desktop Software and the BlackBerry Link.

If you have a BlackBerry Smartphone that runs on BlackBerry 7.1 OS or earlier, you need to download the BlackBerry Desktop Software. It supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. Windows 8.x and Windows 10 are not supported but you can try. For Mac users, you can download the BlackBerry Desktop Software for Mac.

If your BlackBerry Smartphone runs on BlackBerry 10 OS, you need to download the BlackBerry Link. It supports Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.x. Windows 10 is not supported but you can try. It requires Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 so make sure to install it first before installing BlackBerry Link.
