I have windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit installed and was wondering if someone will help me to find best disk checking tool?

Any kind of help would be appreciated.

Hi,

You can check your drive by using Microsoft built in tools.

You will get it from the “properties” option of local disks in your computer.

You can get a tutorial on the following URL Link:

Advance System Care software can be used for maintenance of your PC.

After installing it you will get some options of disk maintenance by clicking right button on any local disk.

Hello Moss,

You can use the check disk tool to check your computer for drive errors.

The following is the procedure:

  • You will need to run check disk from Drive's Properties Page.
  • And then you will open the Start Menu and then click on the Computer button on the right dark side.
  • After that you will need to click the hard disk drive that you want to check, and then click on Properties.
  • And then you will click on the Tools tab, and after that click on the Check now button  that is under Error-checking.
  • You will see the following window:
  • Click start for the process to begin.
