What kind of hardware that is more efficient so that we can backup data on tapes from EMC VNX and restore it on FAS series NetApp filers?

Backup data on tapes from EMC VNX

In the modern world, the fastest and safest hardware to store any kind of media is the hard drives. But the problem here is how to convert the data into compatible format that a hard drive can actually accept.

If you have a tape media, then convert its data into the data type so that you can store it onto a hard disk.

Remember the size of the converted data which you can later use to buy the hard disk of that particular size.

Copy all the data onto it.

There is also a concept of cloud storage. You can also use it if you want to mobilize your data from one location to another.
