Auto CAD 2002 crashes on Windows 8

I have recently upgraded to Windows 8 from Windows XP 64 bit. I reinstalled Auto CAD 2002 LT , but the program now crashes when launched. Could this be a compatbility issue?Is there a remedy for this? Thanks in advance.

Auto CAD 2002 crashes on Windows 8

Hi there

I read your question and I understood the problem. But I’m afraid that there is no solution for overcome this problem since windows is a touch based OS and Auto CAD 2002 LT version is not compatible for windows 8. But you can try the latest version of Auto CAD 2012 LT Repair in order to solve this problem.

Auto CAD 2002 crashes on Windows 8

Hi Derek A Rosas ,

Please refer to the below system requirements for AutoCAD 2002

AutoCAD 2002

Operating System: Windows XP, 98, 2000 Professional, or NT 4.0

Computer specifications require at least Pentium III or higher, 64MB RAM and disk 300MB.

Resolution should be 1024 x 768 VGA with True Color

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0

Only AutoCAD 2014 is compatible with Windows 8 specifications.
