1) First of all, you need to open MS-Word. Then click on file option and new
2) The template can be searched online from some third-party website or from search templates online bar. You must ensure that the format of the template is in MS-Word
3) In the search box provided, type church bulletin and click on Enter.
4) There will be different types of templates displayed. Among them, double-click on the template that you wish to download. If you intend to make use of the template much time, then give it a general title, save it and then save it again with the date.
5) The titles can be customized, and the information of the news and events of the church should be typed.
For the customization,
• At the top of the bulletin, there will be an image displayed which should be replaced with an image you want. Its size can be adjusted too
• The picture can also be cropped by clicking on picture tools, format, and then size.
• Quotes can be placed in the text boxes for the readers. Take care of the font size. It should neither be too small nor too large, and the font color should also be such that it is visible to the readers. More text boxes can be added in case you need some
• The header should be edited by putting in the name of the church, date or any other information that you feel needs to be conveyed.
• In the design tab, you will find a new word style which can be used to change the font and colors of the bulletin.
• The color of the document can be changed too with the help of the colors icon on the design tab. The background should be chosen carefully so that the text color does not get hidden by it and vice versa.
