That message is telling that you can still use kaspersky but the problem there is that the "update database option" which is one of the important feature of any anti-virus won't be available anymore, since you're anti-virus license key is already expired. If you don't have that feature, your anti-virus program will not detect the latest malicious programs.
Therefore, you have to secure another updated/valid license key to make your anti-virus program updated as well.

If you receive that message when entering the license key it means the subscription period for that particular license key has been exhausted or reached the end of its usability period. When you use an antivirus program, paying for a license means subscribing to the service for a specific period of time.

It can be one (1) or two (2) years or maybe longer depending on the subscription period you purchased. The subscription also includes the number of devices allowed to use the program. In your case, since the license key is already expired, there’s nothing you can do about it.
