Are there mail servers that do not automatically apply timestamps to mails?

I’m working on a case where several emails don’t have any "Date" field in the header, these emails all appear to be spam. I would like to know how can anybody send an email without date field? I thought that timestamps are automatically applied by the mail server used.

Hello Alfred Coll,

If the emails are from unknown users and they are automatically landing in the spam folder, then without question you should know that those are spam messages and opening or viewing them may be dangerous because you might not be aware of what it contained in them.

So just empty them, and if you continue receiving such kind of messages you will have to disable all the spam messages from that particular address from the message settings.

Or the messages could be from a person whom you have not yet added to your address book.

Hope this helps.
