I am using Lava-Iris 456 phone. I have assassins creed and some other app (like wechat) pre-installed in it. I want to delete assassins creed application as it is of no use to me. I have successfully deleted wechat but not able to delete assassins creed. Is it possible to do this without making any damage to my smart phone? If possible then please suggest some method to do this.

The Lava Iris 456 Smartphone runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean so I guess there’s no problem removing an app. Uninstalling an app on the handset is very different than when doing it on a PC with Microsoft Windows where it requires going to the Control Panel or launching the app’s own uninstaller.

In a mobile phone, uninstalling an app can easily be done by simply deleting the app. When the app is deleted, it is also uninstalled. Unlike with PC running on Windows, deleting an application will not uninstall the program. It will only delete the shortcut but not the actual application.

Unfortunately, according to Google support, applications that ships with your phone or come pre-installed can’t always be uninstalled. You may need to disable Google Play system apps. Here’s how to do it. On your phone, go to Settings and then select Apps. Tap the system app you want to disable and then select Disable.

If this doesn’t work, try downloading Easy Uninstaller App Uninstall. It will help you uninstall any applications on your phone. Also try Uninstaller for Android.
