Antivirus Avira running with my PC throws an error message

Hi experts,

My current antivirus Avira running with my PC is throwing an error message. It directs to reinstall the said program. So I think, I need to reboot my system, but I cannot advance leaving antivirus protection.

an error. Try installing the program again using the original

installation media or contact your system administrator or the

Anyone has any idea to solve this problem?

Antivirus Avira running with my PC throws an error message

Hi Linda Nelson,

I think I can solve your error here, it is usually as a result of a bad image or a bug, with a proper scan, you can get the bug fixed! You need to have the latest definitions of the anti-virus in order to be able to remove the bug.

Reboot the computer and wait for sometime and restart. This will remove it temporarily but cleaning the system with an updated anti-virus can remove the virus permanently. You also need to update definitions. It should solve the error.

You can also try uninstalling Ad aware(Spyware scanner) and restart the system

The antivirus needs to be updated and do a thorough scan. This will remove the error temporary if not permanently
