I am trying to install Android SDK because of the following error message showing “SDK platform Tools component is missing”. Can you help me to install this missing tool? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

From what I see in the imagine you attached, there is a problem, with the SDK Platform Tools. You need to download it again from a different location and then reinstall it.
Search for the official website and download it from there. This way, you won't have any problems with the installation.

You may not have to reinstall it. As it says you can grab the needed SDK tools from the SDM Manager. Go to the folder where the program is installed and see if you see a file called sdkmanager.exe or something close to that. You may be able to download the SDK tools from here. If not then I would go with the full wipe then a fresh reinstall.
