Is it true Android Jelly Bean Update is available for all the Smart phones ? How can we update our phone to Jelly Bean 4.1 ?

Android Jelly Bean 4.1 Update

Currently, only unlocked Samsung Galaxy Nexus 7 will have an update to Android Jelly Bean. It is not available to many of other phones at the moment. You have to wait for this to happen. Most of the companies are still upgrading their old devices to Android Ice Cream Sandwich. But the LG is only company that announced that they will upgrade all of their 2012 compatible devices to Jelly Bean.

There are also rumors about Motorola xoom but currently it is not supporting Jelly Bean.

One more thing; even after 2 or 3 months or more, Jelly Bean will not be available to all android smart phones. As an example, Samsung Galaxy S is still waiting for an upgrade of Ice Cream Sandwich; but company says that galaxy will not get this whole upgrade..!

Android Jelly Bean 4.1 Update

Unfortunately, the Jelly Bean update for Android devices depends on your handset because not all Android devices can be updated to Android Jelly Bean and there are ones, especially the old models that only supports until a certain version of Android Ice Cream Sandwich. So, if you want to upgrade the firmware of your Android Smartphone, it would be better to check some information first.

You may get disappointed if you tried the update and your handset doesn’t support it or worse it damages the device. Check with your phone’s manual that comes with the box. The manual should contain the information as to what version of the Android operating system can your device be upgraded. If your handset can only be upgraded to a specific version of Ice Cream Sandwich, you cannot force it to upgrade to Jelly Bean.
