Administrator Version has encountered a problem & needs to close

Hi all,

I am running Impromptu v7.0.702.9

Also I have linked to database with no problems, also ran the report with no troubles.

With the details on display I then choose File | Save As, edit the file name as well as choose the "Save a snapshot with the report" check box and then the application creates error message "Administrator Version has encountered a problem & needs to close. Please tell Microsoft about this problem"

I need to solve this error message. Please help.

Hello David,

You are getting that error most probably because there is a problem with the settings that you are being used for Impromptu. You will therefore need to do the following:.

• Access the configuration manager and then under the IWR section check to make sure that the settings have been configured correctly.

• You will also need to check the PPES section. It usually has a compatibility version that enables the PPES to emulate the updated versions. After you have made changes to the settings, try running Impromptu again and see if everything will work well.
