Activity Monitor Job has encountered a problem

Hello,

I have installed STS 2.6.0.SR1 on my Mac and occasionally receive the error "Activity Monitor Job has encountered a problem”.  My Mac’s operating system is 10.6.6. These error messages do not have pattern and appear randomly.

I simply need to click the OK button to make them disappear. How can make this error message disappear permanently?

Activity Monitor Job has encountered a problem

Hi Cynthia,

You will need to take a look at the Error log and check the details of the exception behind the error message that you are getting. That will help you figure out where the real problem is coming from.

Otherwise, try the following workaround and see if it will help you resolve that issue:

• First of all, you will need to disable "Synchronize Automatically" in the view menu of the task list.
• Alternatively, you can close the Task List view to make it invisible on Startup.
• And then go to Preferences and then General.
• After that choose Startup and then Shutdown the Job Monitor.
