Hello Peirce,

You are facing errors during Active Directory Integration just because you haven’t successfully set it up. By the way, “Active Directory” was produced for Windows operating system territorial networks. The server running program is termed as “CONTROLLER.” It is for administration and security purposes and is liable on authorization and authentication of every user and computers within your connection.

To integrate Active Directory successfully, you must follow “OpenLDAP” proxy service. This will allow LDAP processes to connect between limitations form AD. How to do this? Just follow my lead and read very carefuly. This is what you will be using during the fixing process: OpenLDAP and AD for Windows.

Steps to consider:

Start with running “SLAPD” àtry to configure settings to “SLAPD-LDAP”M àthen reboot “SLAPD” while you run “LDAPSEARCH” àintegrate “OPENLDAP” to your system àand transform “PIDFILE” and “ARGSFILE” àthen reboot again “SLAPD” while your run “LDAPSEARCH” at the same time.

These easy steps will be effective if you follow it carefuly. By the way, AD and OpenLDAP were the most vital in this process. Once an error is found, check these both programs because it is the only thing that matters most and almost all of the people uses the same thing.

Good Luck!

Regards,

Mali
