Hello experts,

Acronis 2012 windows 8 got unsupported error. I want to get some free download for Acronis 2012 from the internet but when I tried to install it in my computer with a windows 7 64 bit operating system. It keeps on telling me about unsupported file cannot continue the installation process? Please do help me to resolve this problem. Thank you.

Acronis 2012 Windows 8 got unsupported error.

Hello Marie,

That kind of error occurs when a user attempts to mount an archive that is a file archive, you will need to check if that is what you are doing.

In the event that the build that was used to create the backup is different from the build that you created the recovery with, then I will suggest that you troubleshoot with the same build.

Acronis 2012 Windows 8 got unsupported error.

Hi

I will help to solve your problem with this app. The app, Acronis 2012 you are trying to install is meant for Windows 8 only. It will not be installed on Windows 7 or past os. Download Windows 8 and install it or download the Win 7 compatible version. Or see Acronis website for any help.
