Acquisition of Instagram application by faceBook

Hello there!

As what Facebook have stated. They plan on keeping features as itself like those of posting pictures to other social media sites or the ability to share photos to in your Instagram to Facebook or your choice to not share them.

They keep features as it is like having followers or to follow people separately on Facebook.

Furthermore, Facebook are building similar features as to Instagrams experience. With this, they hope to bring out best experience to the users and not to disappoint them. They are doing their best to keep Instagram as it is on how to connect with people.

Hope it helped.

Thanks.

Neil

The acquisition of Instagram by Facebook was the largest acquisition deal to date. An estimated amount of $1 billion in cash and stock was offered by Facebook to purchase Instagram in April of 2012, and this includes the thirteen employees working at Instagram. The service was originally planned to be managed independently.

Instagram is very similar to Photobucket where you can take a picture, upload it to the site, and then share it to different social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. It is an online photo sharing service where your photo can be applied with a digital filter and then share it to your favorite social networking site.

Every time I hear the word “instagram” I always think of a Polaroid camera that can take Polaroid photos. This service or the Instagram service was launched in October of 2010. It was the creation of Mike Krieger and Kevin Systrom. After its release it immediately became popular to more than 100 million users.

The only thing I don’t like about Instagram after it was purchased by Facebook was the fact that all photos of its users will be sold to third parties without sending any notifications. To make it short, they will be earning from every photo you upload and you will get nothing. Not even a cent and without your consent.

This is the main reason why other users immediately transferred to other services like Flickr of Yahoo!
