Access is denied to install VERITAS Backup

Hello experts

When I am trying to run the environmental test in Backup Exec, the following error message "Access is denied" is shown.

 

 

Need a solution to solve this error message.

Access is denied to install VERITAS Backup

There are few possibilities that are generating this problem. terminate these problems one by one.

First see that the device that you are trying to use to store the backup don't have any kind of restrictions or permissions that you need to get before you start the process of beta testing. This is sometimes crucial to have such permissions granted to the system.

Make sure that the software is pointing to the right device for the backup process.

This can also happen if you are trying to backup a file that has some sort of user rights and that you are not the admin of the system. This also occurs when you are not the full administrator of the system.
