Hi, I was facing some error with my PC saying that it has encountered a service-specific error occurred 100. Could anyone provide me with possible solutions for it?
To fix this “a service-specific error occurred 100” issues follow these steps:-
1. Press on the Start menu, then Run and write down dcomcnfg and hit the Enter key.
2. Locate the Default Security tab and tap on it.
3. Now, find the box saying Default Access Permissions and then press on the Edit Default option.
4. It should have a list with Allow Access with hardware and interactive.
5. Ensure that the local computer name is there.
6. Now, select the Allow Access from the Set Type of Access selection.
7. Locate the account that is missing and press on it, then hit on the Add.
8. Press the OK three times. Now re-login inside your computer after login out, and it should remove that error.
