800f0900 Error Occurred While Activating The Windows Key

When the older version of the Windows upgrades to the newer version, then an error appears named as 800f0900 error. The 800f0900 error is caused by the Windows system’s damaged file, incomplete installation or uninstallation, improper deletion of application, and hardware. The method to clear the error is as follows:

Method 1:

Check the Windows Firewall.

Step 1: Go to the Start menu, then type ‘firewall’ and click on Windows Firewall.
Step 2: Ensure that there is no red dot, implying everything is green.

Method 2:

Check for the Network connection.

Method 3:

Clean the Temp Files for System.

Step 1: Hold Windows key+ R and type the command %temp%, then press Enter.
Step 2: Press and hold the “CTRL” key and ‘A’ at once.
Step 3: Now, hold down the “Shift” key and press Enter.
Step 4: If you get an option, click on “YES” or “OK” to continue the process.
Step 5: If the user gets a prompt message again, check the box to repeat the action and then click on the “Skip” button.
