I never really thought that photos can be geotagged in software.  I got a camera with GPs built into it and it is embedded in the exif data.  How do Ubuntu tag GPs in photo? In picasa it has icon on each geotagged photos.  Is there a photo manager on Ubuntu or mapping tool that can let me browse through the photos based on the location it was actually taken? Does anyone can give recommendations for GPs and software that will work I Ubuntu?  There must be a better way to capture GPs coordinates for photos.

What does a vocoder for pc do? A vocoder was originally intended to capture the essence of speech without digitizing, for transmission at lower bandwidths (less bytes needing to be transmitted), but then, how well will you recognize the original voice after decoding an encoded voice? Does the vocoder do encoding and decoding? Or is it just used as a vocal modifier for music songs these days (perhaps after encoding and then decoding again to see how it changes)?

I found StreamingStar Technology Inc recorder mov format, but what MOV streams are available that permit recording of their content for future offline playback? Is it just like recording television, where it's fine to record for later watching, as long as I don't keep the recordings indefinitely? (For example MOV Recorder 1.3)

Is there any way to make the game identifies the Playstation EYE installed on a PC using the CL Drivers or SOEmote was made to recognize only Logitech cameras. I saw a video on YouTube showing someone (supposedly) using the Playstation EYE with SOEmote, but did not say how to identify it.
