We can connect any file between Microsoft Office 2003 and Moodle 1.6.4 without a problem. We are able to view the file either on a fresh page or within the page it was connected to. The problem occurs when connecting between Moodle and the 2007 version of Microsoft Office. The Moodle symbol can be found in either the course topics or course topic space. Once clicked upon you can either “save/cancel” or “open/save/cancel” depending on whether or not the computer is equipped with the 2007 version of Microsoft Office but there is no way to click on the link. Can you help me figure out how to get MS Office 2007 links to function the same as MS Office 2003 on Moodle? Are the any updates that I need to get for Moodle 1.6.4?

While editing a document, a message appears saying that A Windows SharePoint Services compatible application could not be found. This has caused the document unedited. The installation of InfoPath has caused this and it is a very strange thing to me. Is there any idea or experience to solve it, please?

This is new to me! Yesterday, suddenly, I failed to open any documents for viewing, editing or printing. I'm using Office Starter 2010 which was preloaded on my laptop. When I give double click on the document, it opens for about 1 or 2 seconds; then it closes again. Please, someone HELP!!

This is really an MS issue and I wish someone out there would help me. I have created Unicode fonts with special characters in the Private Use area of the Unicode map. The fonts work well, and can be used in MS by inserting symbols, and selecting the characters.
Moreover, when I create a keyboard, and try to type the characters from my keyboard, MS decides automatically that I am using Japanese and changes the font. I turned off the automatic language detection as per the help files but this did not change anything.
Has anyone else faced this after creating a font?
I need a bit help for him or anybody else.
Thanks in advance.

I am getting an error message when trying to open a Microsoft Office 2010 Word document.
It has graphs on it using a lower version of Word like 2007 version. An error would pop up saying,
"The filename. docx cannot be opened because there are problems with the contents." I am now at a loss and I need help in opening the document so I could continue with my pending job.
Thank you.
Error:
The file filename. docx cannot be opened because there are problems with the contents.

I use tags to organize my files. There are no problems when editing and changing tags in Word 2003. The problem is when I try to change and save the update on a different file, I would get an error message. The permission and the ownership appear to be set correctly. If it was incorrectly set then I would get a different message.
I have also observed that older files of Word 2003 can be viewed as a thumbnail in the document. However, there are no thumbnails when viewing a Word 2007 file, although the view thumbnail option has already been enabled. The document can still be edited and saved, but the changes that were made do not appear when searching on the Windows Explorer.
Please see the attachment for the error message.
