I am using windows 7 OS and when I am trying to open some word files I get a error message.

When I try to open a file it says "Word failed reading from this file".

I’m using PowerPoint X on Panther (10.3.1)and facing some problems. I get anerror message: "PowerPoint is having problems getting input from the user ()". While trying to Insert>Picture>From File, the standard dialog box appears. After clicking “OK” on the error dialog box nearly 4 times it eventually goes away and things proceed normally. Photoshop is creating a problem today. Tga, bmp or exr file format doesn’t open all of a sudden. 

I get the error message: “Could not complete request because of program error.

These formats are suddenly missing in the open dialog box. 

Please, give me a suggestion.
