Removing MSN Messenger Completely on three computers

Hi!

I have three workstations in a small office and i would like to have MSN Messenger removed from these three computers. I would like the employees working on these three computers to focus on their work instead of chatting.

I went to Add/Remove Programs, but did not find MSN Messenger in the program list. It is installed because I see it in the task bar and the employees are able to use it to chat.

Where should I remove MSN Messenger on my computer and why is this option not visible?

Why is it not listed in the Add/Remove Programs list?

Help me.

Removing MSN Messenger Completely on three computers

Hi there

You can remove MSN in Add/Remove programs, the reason you probably can't find it there is because it is hidden. First thing you need to do is unhide so you can see it in Add/Remove programs then uninstall it there:

• First go to C:windowsinf
• Find the file named sysoc.inf and open it with notepad.
• In the image below, find the line highlighted.

• In the line, remove the word hide like so…

• Save the file then close.
• Now go back to Add/Remove programs then at the left side click Add/Remove Windows Component.
• Choose MSN from the choice and Follow the instructions.

Or there is a simple command you can run in Run, open run and type in RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%infmsmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove and press OK. This should remove MSN.

Hi dear i am James and I will tell you how to delete the MSN messenger from your computer.

Mostly the MSN messenger is located in the PROGRAMS FILES, and I hope you know where this folder is located. Now open this folder and then find the name with MESSENGER the simple root in most PC is C:Program FilesMessenger

Now what you can do is you can simply uninstall it from here and it will be finished.

As I have also shown here

It contains the following Files and folders which you have to delete.

You can also just disable this with ought uninstall it.

This is also very simple process.
