How To connect my PHP website to MYSQL Database?

Guys, please help me. I am new to PHP programming and I'm having a hard time in connecting the database to my PHP site. Please help me with this.

How To connect my PHP website to MYSQL Database?

Hi Jenna,

Make sure your MYSQL is properly installed and also your MYSQL server. That way you can connect your site to its database. I also recommend you to use wamp server. You can use it easily. It has a PHP my admin that you can use for your database.

Thanks Mr. Pheetong.  Maybe I'm having a problem with my sqlyog installer. I will try to use the wampserver and will tell you if this will solve my problem.

How To connect my PHP website to MYSQL Database?

It's a good thing you use wampserver, to view your website. You need to put your website folder to local disk C:/wampserver and paste it to www folder. Now open your web browser. You should view your files here, if the wamp server is properly installed.

Thanks, Mr.June. I've finished downloading the wamp server. Does wampserver already have a database? How can I put my old database in to it?
