Error while opening the Wireshark

Hello,

I have encountered this error in Wireshark. I get this error while opening the Wireshark. If I choose to ignore the error and to move on, the interfaces will not be available. Hence, it doesn’t allow capturing. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Error while opening the Wireshark

Hi James,

It seems the WinPcap is installed on your computer that is why WireShark is not working even you installed it successfully. Follow these steps to solve your problem:

Step 1: Uninstall the WinPcap and WireShark

Step 2: You need to download Wincap 4.1 Beta 5 then install it.

Step 3: An error message will appear and it's about on installing the Microsoft Monitor Driver just hit "OK".

Step 4: Download the WireShark 1.2.2 and install it to your computer.
