Parameter Query Box For Every Field

I have created a simple database with 12 fields both text and numeric.

The query I’ve chosen shows the value of each field.

Why can’t the query see the database and gives me a parameter query box for every field when I shut down the database and reopen it?

I should specify that when I save the query, close it and re-open it works just fine.

A parameter query is an advanced query. You can create a query that can be updated easily to refer to a new search term.

In parameter queries, search terms act as variable criteria and change each time you run the query.
