A notification error would appear

I need help in downloading java. A notification error would appear stating that Internet explorer could not show the webpage. When I try to bring my java up to date in the control panel, a notification error would then appear stating that the update for java can’t proceed due to the internet connection currently set in the system.

It asks me to check the Internet Options in the Control Panel and verify whether the settings are correct. It also asks me to verify whether the proxy information is correct. What should I do?

A notification error would appear

It would be helpful if you can provide us the error message you are getting when you try to download JAVA. Why are you not able to download it would be on the error message you are getting. If you are unable to update JAVA from the Control Panel, it may be because you do not have sufficient administrative rights on the computer. If you do have, what is the error message again? If you where advise to check the Internet Option Settings in Control Panel, it may be a good move to do so. As the settings may be the one blocking the installation.
