Insufficient Privilege in opening Nitro Pro 7

I got an error “Service does not have sufficient privilege error” when trying to open Nitro Pro 7. I installed it without issues but I was unable to run it. I reinstalled it for over few times now. How can I resolve it?

Hello Ted,

The error that you are getting is related to the antivirus application that you have on your system. To resolve it, you will need to do the following:

• Disable the antivirus software.
• After that reboot the computer and then try running Nitro Pro.
• In case the error persists, disable the antivirus app under the General tab, and then retry running Nitro Pro.

Hello Ted,

The problem you mention I have experienced it before. It sometimes occurs because the antivirus software we use in our PC. At first check out the firewall, if the firewall is ‘on’ then turn it off but if you don’t find any option like this then disables the anti virus and anti spam software under the General tab. Then reboot the computer and try to install the Nitro Pro 7 again. Hopefully you won't get any error message this time.

Insufficient Privilege in opening Nitro Pro 7

If you try to open Nitro Pro and that error occurred, try to uninstall and reinstall the program. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo Uninstaller then select your Nitro Pro among the applications and click “Uninstall.” Follow the normal uninstall process. When you are prompted to restart the computer, select to restart later.

When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and then delete everything it finds. This will remove everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, close Revo Uninstaller then restart the computer. After booting, open Windows Explorer then right-click the Nitro Pro installer and select “Run as administrator.” This will give setup full administrative privileges during installation.

See if this works. If this doesn’t work and you still receive the same error every time you run the program, try using the “Run as” command. Right-click Nitro Pro and select “Run as administrator.” If this works, make the program to always run as administrator. Right-click Nitro Pro and select “Properties.”

Go to “Compatibility” tab then under “Privilege level” section, check “Run this program as an administrator” then click “OK.” Also, try installing the latest Nitro Pro Free.
